Highly recommended

An absolute treasure trove in the heart of Gourock. We proudly have three prints from the Pirate and Bluebelle scattered around our home. The service from Heather and Nick is superb.

Unique and inspiring!

A great collection of items ranging from bespoke badges to quirky music related prints & craft items to beautiful photographs of the local area. I’m never stuck for gift ideas when this shop is on my doorstep. Friends & family across the world have pieces from this shop that I’ve posted out and they’re always treasured. I usually end up buying the same thing for myself! The gem of Kempock Street with good shop banter thrown in!

Feel at home

I am a long standing fan of The Pirate and Bluebelle  ever since they opened their first pop up shop. They have now outgrown that space and have their own beautifully curated gallery. I know if I need a gift or a little treat for myself I will find something here. As well as their own work they have a great selection from artists around Scotland. The owners Nick and Heather are lovely and make you feel at home, my kids love to pop in and see ‘the pirate’. I would highly recommend a visit.

I never leave empty handed

If ever I need a gift, The Pirate and Bluebelle is always my first port of call. I particularly love the seaside themed gifts, but also the quirkier gifts and cards in stock. I NEVER leave empty-handed and my kids go there to buy me wee treats too. Nick and Heather are so friendly and helpful and a wee trip into their shop never fails to cheer me up. Going in tomorrow to pick up a birthday present-I just can’t stay away!!

A treasure trove of delights

It’s not hard to convey the flavour if the P and B …. it’s a treasure trove of delights. I have some beautiful pieces of local art which I purchased from them. The prices are reasonable and the work is all created by artists so you are getting a piece of art that is original. The shop is brimming with love for art in all things and it’s a favourite place that I visit again and again. I highly recommend a visit if you have never been. Thank you Heather and Nick you are always so helpful and knowledgeable.

Always fills me with inspiration

My favourite little treasure chest in all of Scotland! Even if I’m not walking out with anything, it always fills me with inspiration to get back in to Art again. Both so lovely to talk to.
