Hayley is a mixed media artist, working mainly in acrylic and collage. She has a particular fondness for 1970s craft magazines, and this is where the collage element of her work largely comes from.  ​The seaside always plays a large part in her art. It is where she grew up and where she lives now. Studying Fine Art at the University of Sunderland , she has been drawing ever since with liking her work to contain questions, hidden stories and a generous dollop of artistic licence!
