The Royal Gourock Yacht Club was founded in 1894, when it was first known as Gourock Sailing Club.

It has presided in the same position since 1902 when the funds for a buiding were donated by James Coats of the famous thread company as many of his family were keen sailors.

The buildings position offers unrivalled views over the River Clyde and its terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy the river goings on!
